You saw the pictures last post – here’s the finished coop making it’s journey from my parents’ yard to our (adjacent) property. The logistics required that my dad drive it out to the road, into the tree farm one more property down, then to it’s first (it’s mobile!) location at the rear of our land. Click the links to see the videos.
Step 1: Off my dad’s land and onto the road…
Step 2: …And through the tree farm…
Step 2: …And onto our property
Thanks to the generous help of my father, we now have a brand new mobile chicken coup. Being mobile allows us to move the coup (and their surrounding yard) around the property, thereby letting the chickens work a fresh patch of the soil.
